One of the most influential classes for me as an undergrad was Color Theory. This was a class I took during the spring of 2021, while school was still online. After a year of doing class from my bedroom, color theory opened my eyes to a totally new perspective. Traditionally this class has always been in person, as color is different on a screen vs the human eye. By taking pictures at different times throughout the day, I was able to use the view from my bedroom window to teach myself that color is changing at every moment. Light is what gives us color and it was amazing to me just how drastic the colors around me shifted through the day. Learning about different color interactions and their influences over people sparked a new chapter in my undergraduate experience.
